POSTER FOR 'ALTERNATIVE IDENTITY PROJECT' / ILLUSTRATION
I was commissioned by Shweta Srinivasan, founder of TheMindClan and the creator of the Alternative Identity Project, to develop illustrations for a poster that was presented at the Weaving Our Voices Conference, 2020 in Mumbai.

The poster featured a series of 3 illustrations depicting stories of re-authoring + rejecting the ideas of personal failure that were shared by the participants over the course of the gathering. The poster illustrated the arduous process of externalising failure, both individually and as a community. Using text and images, the Hinglish poster highlighted the hopes and wishes of the participants in their fight against the systems of inequality, like patriarchy, casteism, ableism, heteronormativity, etc.
